OPP Charge Suspended Lawyer with 2 Counts of Fraud
The OPP has charged a former real estate lawyer with two counts of fraud following an investigation into the embezzling of money from his law firm's trust account.
This past Sunday (May 5), a 37-year-old man from Southern Ontario was arrested and charged with two counts of Fraud Over $5000.
He previously operated a practice named "Mullun Law" with office locations throughout Ontario, including Kitchener, Ottawa, Toronto, Oakville, and here in Sudbury.
Losses attributed to 49 victims in this case are believed to total over $1.5 million.
