The Baie-Sainte-Anne Navigators have pulled out of the Acadie-Chaleur Men's Senior Hockey League.

The club made the announcement on its Facebook page on Monday, citing a lack of players.

That  leaves the league with six teams:  Baie of Chaleurs, Caraquet, Dalhousie, Neguac, Shippagan, and Tracadie.

The league says the Navigators can return to the league for the 2020-21 season, but the team will have to go through the regular application process.

The new season kicks off on October 25th.
