Proposed zoning changes for Dunlop & Robertville to be presented tonight
The Chaleur Regional Service Commission will hold a public hearing tonight on the proposed merger of zoning plans for Dunlop and Robertville.
Planning Director Marc Bouffard says the current have been in placed since 1995 and are quite similar, adding the merger will result in less paperwork.
He says the regulations pertain to typical zoning regulations and standards for land use and development.
Public input from the meeting will be submitted to New Brunswick's Minister of Local Government for review.
Bouffard says the new zoning could go into effect as early as June; as soon as the Minister gives the "go-ahead".
The meeting takes place at the Club de l'Age d'Or in Robertville.
