380 power crews continue efforts to restore power in north-eastern NB
NB power says it now has 380 crews on the ground working to restore electricity to those still affected by a devastating ice storm that hit a week ago.
About 7,500 customers in the province's north-east are still without power.
Premier Brian Gallant says the province will kick in $100,000 to help food banks restock and repair storm damage, adding that people should throw out any food that may have gone bad during the lengthy outage.
Gallant says he realizes many people can't afford to replace lost food and repair damage to their homes but says the province will provide disaster relief.
