Acadie-Bathurst on four game streak following win over Wildcats

The Acadie-Bathurst Titan downed the Moncton Wildcats 5 - 1 Wednesday for its fourth consecutive victory.

Samuel L'Italien scored a short handed goal while Keenan MacIsaac, Jordan Maher, Jeff Viel, and Ethan Crossman each found the back of Moncton's net once.

Netminder Evan Fitzpatrick blocked 20 shots.

Viel, Adam Holwell, and Crossman were named First, Second, and Third Stars of the Game respectively.

The club has won eleven of its last 12 outings and sit fifth overall, one point shy of the Drummondville Voltigeurs.

The Titan travel to Cape Breton this weekend for back-to-back games against the Screaming Eagles on Friday and Saturday.

They'll return to the KC Irving Centre next Thursday to entertain the ninth-place Gatineau Olympiques.

Meanwhile the Titan have received an honourable mention on the CHL's weekly Top Ten Rankings for the 2018-18 season as selected by a panel of NHL scouts.
