Acadie-Bathurst Titan beefs up defence ahead of holiday trade deadline

The Acadie-Bathurst Titan have squeezed in a trade ahead of the holiday trade deadline on Friday, January 6th.

The Titan's seventh-round pick at the 2018 QMJHL Draft was sent to Gatineau in exchange for defenceman Joakim Paraids.

The six-foot-four eighteen year old was drafted in the seventh round by the Olympiques in 2015 and played a total of eleven games this season.

He's the son of Daniel Paradis who played with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens from 1990 to 1993 and is currently the assistant general manager of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
