Acadie-Bathurst Titan forward named CHL's Player of the Week

Acadie-Bathurst Titan forward Christophe Boivin has been named CHL's Player of the Week for the week ending February 19 .  

The 21 year old Quebec native is in his fourth season with the Titan and has racked up 36 goals and 39 assists in 57 games.  

He recorded a trio of multi-point performances for the Titan who extend their winning-streak to five, rising to sixth place in the league's overall standings.  

Boivin scored a goal and added an assist on Wednesday, February 15th, as second star of a 4-3 road win over the Moncton Wildcats, then picked up a pair of assists Friday, February 17th as part of a 9-0 home win over the Halifax Mooseheads.  

He finished the week with his first career hat-trick along with two assists for a career-high five points as first star of a 7-2 win against the Wildcats on Saturday, February 18th.

Boivin leads the Titan in scoring and ranks ninth overall in the Q-League.  

Meanwhile, the Titan are in Saint John on Wednesday, February 22nd, facing the Sea Dogs and in Halifax on Friday, February 24th against the Mooseheads.

Q-League action returns to the KC Irving Centre on Sunday, February 26th, when the Titan play host to the 16th place Sherbrook Phoenix.
