Acadie-Bathurst Titan kick off three-game Quebec trip with win over Chicoutimi

A goal by Bathurst native Noah Dobson helped the Acadie-Bathurst Titan put a mark in the win column.

The Titan kicked off a three game road trip to Quebec on Thursday with a 4 - 1 win over the Chicoutimi Sagueneens.

Samuel L'Italien notched two goals while rookie Logan Chisholm chipped in one.

Netminder Evan Fitzpatrick stopped 20 shots.

L'Italien and newcomer Olivier Galipeau were named first and second stars of the game respectively.

In the Maritime Division, the Titan sit third, one point shy of the Halifax Mooseheads.

Overall, the Titan is in seventh place, three points behind the fifth place Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.

The Titan are in Baie-Comeau on Friday against the 14th place Drakkar and will wrap up their three-game Quebec road trip on Sunday in Quebec City against the 9th place Remparts.

QMJHL action returns to the KC Irving Centre in Bathurst on January 20th when the Titan entertain the Mooseheads.

The Titan is currently 22 - 12 - 6 with 26 regular season games remaining.
