Acadie-Bathurst Titan's loosing skid extended to eleven games

It was a painful weekend road trip to Quebec for the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

On Friday, thee assists from former Titan captain Noah Dobson helped the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies hand last season's President and Memorial Cup champion team an 8 - 1 loss.

Marc-Andre LeCouffe managed to break the shut-out, finding the back of the Huskies' net with a power-play goal in the second period, assisted by Liam Leonard and Jesse Sutton.

Titan netminder Tyriq Outen blocked 49 shots.

The Huskies outshot the Titan 57 - 17.

Things didn't go much better on Saturday in Val-d'Or, where the Foreurs edged the Titan 4 - 3.

Sutton, Anderson MacDonald, and William Champagne each chipped in with a goal while Mark Grametbauer made 31 saves.

Val-d'Or outshot the Titan 35 - 26.

Champagne was named Third Star of the Game. 

The Titan is suffering an eleven-game loosing skid, sitting last in QMJHL standings, ten points behind the 17th-place Saint John Sea Dogs.

The Titan will try to snap its loosing steak on Friday when it travels to Halifax to face the fourth-place Mooseheads.

QMJHL action returns to the KC Irving Centre in Bathurst on Saturday when the Titan hosts the third-place Drummondville Voltigeurs.
