Acadie-Bathurst Titan & Screaming Eagles split weekend matchups

The Acadie-Bathurst Titan finally put an end to its ten-game loosing streak.

On Saturday the Titan travelled to Cape Breton where it recorded a 3 - 2 win over the Screaming Eagles.

Finding the back of the Screaming Eagles' net was Daniil Vertiy, assisted by Logan Chisholm and Alexis Sanfacon.

Marc-Andre LeCouffe chipped in with one while Chisholm scored the game-winner in the third period assisted by Ethan Crossman and  Félix-Antoine Drolet.

Netminder Mark Grametbauer stopped a whopping 53 shots and was named First Player of the Game.

But things didn't as well on Sunday when it was the Screaming Eagles who skated away with a 6 - 2 victory over the Titan.

Noah Dobson scored on a power play in the second period, followed by a goal from William Champagne, assisted by  Marc-André LeCouffe and Domenic Malatesta.

Goaltender Tyriq Outen managed to stop 37 shots.

QMJHL action returns to the KC Irving Centre on Wednesday when the Titan hosts the Halifax Mooseheads.
