Acadie-Bathurst Titan secure home-ice advantage for first round of QMJHL playoffs

Regular Q-Leauge season play at the KC Irving Centre wrapped up over the weekend.

On Friday, March 10th, the Acadie-Bathurst Titan beat the Halifax Mooseheads 3 - 1 in front of a sell-out crowd.

Netminder Anthony Dumont-Bouchard stopped 26 shots while Samuel l'Italien, Noah Dobson, and Vladimir Kuznetsov each found the back of the Moosehead's net once.

Rodrigo Abols, Antoine Morand, and Dobson named first, second and third stars of the game respectively.

The win secured the Titan home-ice advantage in the first round of the QMJHL playoffs.

Things didn't go as well on Saturday, March 11th, for the Titan's final home game of the regular season.

The Charlottetown Islanders emerged victorious beating the Titan 6 - 3 in front of a crowd of 3,266.

Christophe Boivin, Abols, and Zachary Malatesta were named first, second, and third stars of the game respectively.

The Titan finished out the weekend in sixth place with just three games remaining in the regular season.

They take on the 8th place Cape Breton Screaming Eagles on Wedensday, March 15th.
