Acadie-Bathurst Titan sign Latvian forward Rodrigo Abols

Acadie-Bathurst Titan have signed 20 year old forward Rodrigo Abols.  

The Latvian native spent time with the WHL's Portland Winterhawks having been drafted in the first round of the 2015 CHL Import Draft. 

He suited up for 64 regular season games where he scored 20 goals and added 30 assists.

Also in 2015, Abols was invited to the Vancouver Canucks training camp.

He's the son of Latvian hockey superstar and Lada Togliatti(KHL) head coach Artis Abols and represented Latvia at the U-18, U-20 and Senor Men's level.

Most recently Abols represented Latvia at the 2018 Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

Abols will wear number 24 when he laces up for the Titan on Wednesday, October 26th against Halifax.
