Acadie-Bathurst Titan to face Armada in second round of QMJHL playoffs

The Acadie-Bathurst Titan will lace up against the Armada in the second round of the QMJHL playoffs.

Titan head coach Mario Pouliot says the Armada is a hard-working, well-structured team and that the Titan will have to use its speed while making efficient offensive plays.

The Armada have home-ice advantage for game one and two of the second-round best-of-seven series which go Thursday, April 6th and Saturday, April 8th.

The Titan's second round series shifts to the KC Irving Centre in Bathurst on Tuesday, April 11th for game three and Wednesday, April 12th for game four.

Game five will take place at the KC Irving Centre on Friday, April 14 if needed.

Meanwhile, Gatineau beat Cape Breton on Monday, April 3rd, to force a first-round game seven which will take place on Tuesday, April 4th.

The Halifax Mooseheads were eliminated from the playoffs after falling to the Huskies in game six of the first round.
