Acadie-Chaleur Men's Senior Hockey League rejects Restigouche North Vikings' entry application

It appears as though senior hockey may have come to an end in Dalhousie after the Acadie-Chaleur Men's Senior Hockey League rejected the Restigouche North Viking's application to play in that league.

The team had a part of the Northeast Senior Hockey League but Viking's Peter Thorne tells the Tribune the cost of playing in that grouping was too high.

He says the team applied to the Acadie-Chaleur league thinking it was a shoo-in.

The application, however, was rejected due to travel logistics for the other teams.
