Acadieville man charged in connection with Moncton hospital assault
Police say a 69-year-old Acadieville man has been charged with assault causing bodily harm in, in relation to an incident at a Moncton hospital in March.
Officers responded to the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont University Hospital Centre on March 11 for a report of a staff member being assaulted.
RCMP say a man was arrested and later released on a promise to appear in court.
On June 4, Bruce Randolph Van Horlick appeared in court and was charged with assault causing bodily harm.
Police say he was released on conditions and is scheduled to return to court on July 16 to enter a plea.
