Alleged Fredericton shooter in court on Friday
The man allegedly responsible for the murder of two Fredericton Police officers and two civilians in a mass shooting last August will appear in court on Friday.
A press release from the Department of Justice and the Office of the Attorney General says a pre-trial appearance in the matter of Her Majesty the Queen v. Matthew Raymond is scheduled in the Court of Queen's Bench at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
The release did not indicate what the matter was regarding.
Raymond is charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Fredericton Police Constables Sara Burns and Robb Costello and civilians Donnie Robichaud and Bobbie Lee Wright.
