App maps out New Brunswick's natural beauty

news-update

A New Brunswick man has launched an app that allows users to share and obtain information about nature destinations in the province.

The Telegraph-Journal reports 29-year-old Kirk Leary launched the GoCapture app, which allows people to virtually see how far away various nature spots are from their location.

Available on the App Store and Google Play, the app also allows users to get a feel for what a nature spot has to offer through other users uploaded pictures and descriptions.

The paper says Leary has plans for the future of the app that include parking information and routes to destinations as well as potential expansion into Nova Scotia and beyond.

Currently, GoCapture has a listing of nine caves and 270 waterfalls.
