B.N.P.P.: Former owner of Nigadoo camp ground will not face any charges

The BNPP says no charges will be brought against the former owner of a popular Nigadoo campground.

Seasonal campers suspected fraud when they learned trustees would not be refunding their lot deposits they discovered Motel Camping Hé had gone into bankruptcy in 2017.

In a letter to former owner Nicole Fournier, BNPP Chief Charles Comeau wrote that there was not enough evidence to warrant charges.

Fournier tells the Acadie-Nouvelle the matter has tarnished her reputation and that she now hopes to turn the page and move on from what she calls 'a painful episode'.
