Bail hearing underway in Bathurst for Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska man facing several drug charges
A bail hearing is underway this week in Bathurst for a Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska man facing several drug-related charges.
57-year-old Emery Joseph Martin was arrested in June and charged with several offences including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, laundering the proceeds of crime, as well as commission of an offence for a criminal organization.
Mounties have allegedly linked the drugs to Hells Angels in Quebec.
A court-ordered publication ban is in place.
The hearing is expected to wrap up on Friday.
