Bathurst athlete completes final race at World Masters Cross Country Skiing Championships in Norway
Competition has wrapped to up for a Bathurst athlete taking part in the World Masters Cross Country Skiing Championships in Norway.
Sebastien Duke had an 18th place finish in the 45 kilometre freestyle race, his final event of the competition.
Duke says he happy with the results, noting it took him 2h35 to complete the course.
He placed in the top ten for two events: 9th place for the 10km freestyle and a 6th place in the team 4 x 5km event.
In his first race of the competition, the 30km freestyle, Duke placed 16th.
Duke says he's been enjoying his trip, noting the people are very welcoming and that the 180km of groomed trail were great to experience.
