Bathurst bike trails now offer learning experience
A tip out on Bathurst's extensive biking trails will now do more than just help keep you in shape.
In addition to signs for directions, the 40-kilometre trail system now features eight interpretive panels with information about mining, fishing, forestry, and shipbuilding.
Trail committee's Samuel Daigle completed the project on Monday, and says the trail system deserves to be known, and discovered, by citizens and tourists alike.
Daigle adds the trails are connected to the city's schools and businesses, and offer several picturesque views.
