Bathurst man pleads guilty to dousing pub patrons with pepper spray-like substance

A Bathurst man has pleaded guilty to several charges relating to an incident at a downtown pub last month.

Aaron Hudon-Lavigne was charged with possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault, uttering threats, and mischief after allegedly dousing patrons of the Au Bootlegger bar with a substance similar to pepper spray on July 31st.

The 22-year-old will remain in custody until his sentencing hearing, scheduled for September 23rd.
