Bathurst man sentenced to 12 months on sexual assault charge
A Bathurst man will spend the next 12 months behind bars after pleading guilty to a charge of sexual assault back in April.
64 year old Victorin Boudreau, formerly of the Petit-Rocher area, was sentenced on Tuesday on the charge stemming from an incident the BNPP says occurred in Beresford in 2016.
In addition to jail time, Boudreau is banned from possessing firearms and will serve probation upon his release.
A court-ordered publication ban is in place to protect the identity of the victim.
