Bathurst prospector credited with a number of mineral finds dies

A local prospector credited with several significant mineral finds in the Chaleur region has died.

Claude (Tidi) Willett began prospecting back in the 1950's and is responsible for discovering deposits in Nine Mile Brook, Belledune and Middle River areas.

Willett continued prospecting right up until the time of his death on Saturday, March  at the age of 97.

His funeral will take place on Saturday, March 18th, in Bathurst.
