Bathurst Rotary Club members to receive its highest honour for community leadership
The Bathurst Rotary Club will recognize three local individuals next month with its highest honour.
James Squires, Claire Wilt and Riba Riordon will receive the Paul Harris Fellowship distinction for their substantial contributions to humanitarian and educational causes while being leaders in community service.
Committee chair Peter Assaff says all three individuals are shining examples of the Rotary Club's motto: "Service Above Self" and have been dedicated volunteers and ambassadors of the Chaleur region for several decades.
As a result, a $1,000US donation will be made in each recipients's name to the Rotary Foundation.
The Paul Harris Fellowship Gala will take place on Wednesday, May 17th at the Gowan Brae Golf and Country Club in Bathurst.
