Bathurst's snow removal costs up for first two months of 2017

Bathurst spent more on ploughing its streets the first two months of 2017 than the same period last year, but city manager Andre Doucet says its still on track to meet financial targets.

He says the city spent over $80,000 more in January and February and that hitting snow budget targets will depend on the weather.

Doucet says Bathurst reduced its snow clearing budget by about $56,000 in 2017 in favour of patching its streets.
