Belledune Port Authority appoints first ever female board chair

The Belledune Port Authority's Board of Directors has a new Chairperson.

Danika Keeley recently became the first female to hold the position with the port authority and is now part of a movement seeing more women occupying executive roles on serving boards.

Keely previously served as a director with the board and has a background in business planning, financial management, human resources management, and fine-tuned marketing skills.

She says she's fortunate to be part of a group of highly talented professionals representing the various regions of Northern New Brunswick and is thankful for the opportunity to have been selected to serve as Chair.
