Beresford man sentenced to six months behind bars for trying to buy sexual services from minor
The BNPP says a Beresford man has been sentenced on Monday to six months behind bars for buying sexual services from a person younger than the age of 18.
The offence happened in Beresford back in 2015.
Police say 56-year-old Hector Duguay will serve twelve months of probation upon his release, has been ordered to register with the National Sex offender Registry and provide a sample of DNA to the National DNA Data Bank.
A court-ordered publication ban is in place to protect the identity of the victim.
