Blizzard warning issued for the Chaleur region

A blizzard warning from Environment Canada says we can expect poor visibility, snow and blowing snow today in the Chaleur region.

Approximately 15 centimetres of snow is expected today and into tonight.

The department warns that very cold temperatures will develop this afternoon with winds gusting to 90km/hr along the coast. 

Schools in the Anglophone North District only, have been shut down for the day.
