Bouctouche area man dead after boat capsizes off New Brunswick

The RCMP says a 68-year-old man has died after a boat capsized off New Brunswick.

Constable Ricky Leblond says two men from the Bouctouche area were fishing off the coast of Saint-Thomas-de-Kent when their boat overturned yesterday afternoon.

Bouctouche fire and members from the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre pulled the men from the water but one of them died after he was flown to hospital in Moncton.

The other man, who is 57, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
