Bracelet found at scene of theft

The West District RCMP says they are investigating the theft of tools from a vehicle parked outside a home in Saint-Joseph-de-Madawaska, and they hope a member of the public can identify the owner of a bracelet found at the scene.

Officers responded to report of a theft from a vehicle that was parked on chemin Couturier around 8:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say a number of construction tools, including saws, drills and a sander were taken, along with other tools and accessories, sometime between 10:00 p.m. January 1 and 7:00 a.m. January 2.

RCMP say the metal chain-link bracelet with charms, seen in the attached photo, was found at the scene and police believe it belongs to one of the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Saint Léonard RCMP or call Crime Stoppers.
