C.C.N.B. Bathurst student, graduate win hardware at Skills Canada national competition
Podium finishes for CCNB-Bathurst students and graduates at the Canadian Skills and Trade Olympiad in Alberta.
The New Brunswick delegation won a record 12 medals, including a gold medal for Bodywork and Body Painting graduate Marc-Andre Benoit while Recreational Vehicle Mechanics student Remy Savoie won a bronze medal in his category.
Benoit also won the 'Best in Region' medal, achieving the highest scores across all disciplines.
Savoie says competition was fierce but jokes that winning a bronze medal isn't so bad.
The competition was held in Edmonton from June 3rd to 6th.
