C.C.N.B. students dominate recent Skills Canada trades competition

CCNB students won five out of a possible nine medals at last week's Skills Canada New Brunswick trades competition.

The competition was held at CCNB's Youghall Drive campus last Friday.

CCNB-Bathurst graduate Marc-Andre Benoit won the top spot in the 'Automotive Body Work' category, while Frederik Benoit, a CCNB-Bathurst student, placed second in 'Automotive Painting'.

The college was most dominant in the 'Industrial Mechanics' category with Yanick Gautreau, Roch Lapointe, and Jeremy Lagace placing first, second, and third respectively.

Medal-winners will take part in the national leg of the competition being held in Edmonton, Alberta in June.
