C.S.C.A. training camp to help local athletes reach 'next level' of competition

Local athletes will learn how to up their game next week when Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic makes a stop in Bathurst.

The one-day clinic is geared towards athletes ages 13 to 17 who are want to compete at a higher level like college, university, or national teams.

It allows youth to compete, learn and be inspired in an environment with other athletes with similar ambitions.

The athletes will take part in a training session with sport psychologist Renee Matt, an interactive talk with CSCA National team athlete Simon Richard, and psychical performance testing with strength and conditioning coach Mark Gifford.

The training camp takes place at ESN on Wednesday.
