Campbellton man sentenced to eleven years in prison on manslaughter charges
A Campbellton man will spend the next 11 years behind bars after pleading guilty to manslaughter charges last month.
21 year old Yannick Landry was sentenced on Tuesday.
He had originally pleaded not guilty to charge of first-degree murder, however changed his plea to guilty on a lesser charge of manslaughter in the violent death of 33 year old Stephane Levesque in Campbellton back in February.
His father, 42 year old Jean-Yves Landry was sentenced to five years in prison in relation to the same incident.
