Canadian Red Cross aiding family after fire in Moncton
The Canadian Red Cross says they are helping a family of four after a fire damaged a basement apartment of a bungalow in Moncton early Wednesday evening.
Volunteers have assisted a couple and two children with emergency lodging, food and clothing purchases and other basics.
The aid agency says the woman was treated in hospital for smoke inhalation and was released a short time later.
No other injuries were reported.
