Caraquet comedian, bartender to seek S.A.N.B. presidency

A Caraquet comedian and bartender says he wants a shot at leading a provincial organization that defends and promotes the rights and interests of New Brunswick's Acadian and Francophone community.

Nathan Dimitroff is the first to officially seek the presidency of the New Brunswick Acadian Society.

35 year old Dimitroff says he wants to contribute to the winds of change that have been sweeping through the organization recently.

The organization's interim president, Joey Couturier, has said he would be stepping down at its annual general meeting on June 16th in Caraquet.
