Carleton-sur-Mer seeks to renew five-year municipal plan
Carleton-sur-Mer is holding public consultations as it seeks to renew its five year strategic plan.
The town has hired a consultant, specializing in municipal strategies and organizational development, to help with the plan that mayor Mathieu Lapointe says is essential to ensure the municipality's development vision is aligned with the wants and needs of the community.
Over the next few months citizens can respond to a survey, attend focus groups, and attend public meetings to give their input:
The survey will be open until May 21st and is available on-line;
Focus groups are planned throughout the month of May;
Public meetings will take place on June 5th
Results of the consultation are expected in the fall of 2018, and council will begin drafting the new strategic plan in October.
