CCNB-Bathurst student places in top three at national skills & trades competition

It was a podium finish for a student from CCNB's Bathurst campus at the recent Canadian Skills and Trades Olympiad in Halifax.

Tracadie native Justin Robert finished the competition with a bronze medal in the RV Mechanics division.

With this being his first year of eligibility, Robert says he's extremely satisfied with his results, noting he was competing against some of the top students and apprentices from across Canada.

Robert earned entry to the event following his performance at the provincial leg of the competition.

Next year's Canadian Skills and Trades Olympiad will be held in Vancouver, British Columbia.
