CCNB-Bathurst students make safety a priority for upcoming grad. celebration

It's the time of year graduates like to kick back and celebrate their big accomplishment, and this year, a group of CCNB-Bathurst students have made it their 'business' to make sure festivities are as safe as possible.

Six business administration students have put together a transportation initiative, much like 'Operation Red Nose', aimed at getting graduates to and from their second annual Safe Grad party.

Co-organizer Denis Hachey says it's a way to cut the chances of students drinking and getting behind the wheel.

Approximately 280 CCNB-Bathurst students are expected receive their diplomas on June 22nd before attending Safe Grad celebrations later that night.
