CCNB to offer two-year Internet of Things course

The Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB) Bathurst Campus is offering a new technology-focused program in January.

The Internet of Things, or Internet des objets, is a two-year course offered in French that is designed to prepare students to work in a world of devices connected through a network.

A press release from CCNB says students will "develop skills to connect assets and events in the real world to one another using the Internet" and be able to "analyze the information issued by connected sensors and by the collection of electronic information in the cloud."

Bruce MacDougall, President of Atlantic of Rogers, says they were pleased to help develop the program.

Graduates will be able to work as technicians designing the deployment of Internet of Things solutions or as wireless network specialists.
