CFIA recalls ice cream product due to possible Listeria contamination
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says possible Listeria contamination has led to more varieties of sundae cups placed under recall.
The agency announced earlier this month that Peterborough, Ontario-based Central Smith Creamery was recalling its Wholesome Farms brand of strawberry sundaes
But upon further investigation, the agency has expanded the recall to include vanilla, sugar-free vanilla, butterscotch, orange sherbet, lime sherbet and chocolate sundae cups.
The desserts were sold in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and possibly nationally.
No illnesses have been reported.
