Chaleur region MLA to sign Green Party's declaration of cooperation
At least one Chaleur region MLA will be signing a declaration of intent with New Brunswick's Green Party.
Bathurst-West-Beresford MLA Brian Kenny says he will sign the agreement that aims to find solutions to co-operate in the legislature.
Danile Guitard, MLA for the Restigouche-Chaleur riding, says he's already signed it.
Green Leader David Coon is asking all MLA's to sign the document which asks members to agree to such principles as the right to a healthy environment, Indigenous rights and linguistic equality.
We've reached out MLA's Denis Landry to find out if he'll be signing it as well.
The Legislature is set to convene on October 23rd.
