Confidence in Gallant government dwindling, study suggests

Many New Brunswickers say they have lost faith in the Gallant government, especially after the recent controversy surrounding property tax assessments.

A Political Science Professor at the University of Prince Edward Island says this comes as no surprise.

Don Desserud says confidence in governments is on the decline overall, and controversies like the one surrounding property tax assessments  don't help.

Desserud says there has been a decline for some time, and every once in awhile the trust comes back, and there is an optimistic feeling out there, particularly after an election.
