Dalhousie considers allowing chickens within town limits
With all the talk about producing food locally as of late, one New Brunswick municipality is thinking about allowing its citizens to keep chickens within town limits.
Dalhousie's clerk-treasurer will consult with other New Brunswick municipalities who already allow the practice to see how they handle the matter.
The town would have to make some changes to its bylaws in order for the plan to proceed.
Bathurst considered doing the same a few years ago, but decided against it in the end.
