Dalhousie Legion shuts doors until May over high power bills
NB Power says it will meet with the Dalhousie Legion this week on better understand its power bills, and ways to manage its power consumption.
The Legion has decided to close its doors until May because of high power bills.
That's after it spent tens of thousands of dollars to improve its energy efficiency, including new heat pumps that president Roger Leclair says were expected to save the Legion 30 per cent on its bill.
