Dalhousie man killed while crossing street in U.S.

A Dalhousie man has died after being struck by a vehicle in the U.S.

Lionel Doucet and his wife Eveline were hit by a vehicle while crossing a busy, but dimly lit intersection in Kingsland, Georgia.

Eveline Doucet received serious injuries.

Family call the accident 'unfortunate' and say the driver wouldn't have had time to stop and that he will not face charges.

The Doucets were on their way to Florida to vacation with friends who are also from Dalhousie.
