Dalhousie woman sentenced to 12-months in jail for robbing convenience store
A Dalhousie woman who pleaded guilty to trying to rob a convenience has been sentenced to 12 months behind bars.
The Tribune reports Tanya Landry admitted on Monday to using a knife in an attempt to rob the Circle-K store in June of 2018.
Landry also pleaded guilty to stealing from the Atholville Wal-Mart in October.
The 42-year-old will serve 18 months of probation upon her release, is prohibited from owning firearms for ten years and must provide a sample of her DNA.
Landry has been credited three months for time already served.
