Developer expresses interest in empty Dalhousie fuel storage, distribution tanks
There may be new life for some fuel tanks in Dalhousie that have been empty and unused since 2012.
An unnamed developer has expressed interest in using the tanks for the storage and distribution of fuel.
Mayor Normand Pelletier had been advocating for their demolition but says putting them to use again would be good for the local economy.
NB Power confirms it's working with the developer to determine whether the tanks can return to service but stresses the viability of the infrastructure is still not completely known.
