Drummondville prison in lockdown following death of inmate
A lockdown continues this morning at a medium-security prison in Drummondville, Quebec following the death of an inmate.
Correctional Services Canada says 32-year-old Jonathan Payeur died at Drummond Institution on Sunday.
He'd been serving a third federal sentence of three years and one month at the facility for criminal harassment, in addition to several drugs and weapons charges.
Authorities have not said how Payeur died, but have locked down the prison and suspended visits while staff conduct an ``exceptional search.''
